Xion Worx - The Virtual Workplace
Step into real-world tech roles with virtual companies powered by Xion Nexus.
How It Works
- Start at Xion Apex Academy: Students graduate with a unique ID (e.g., XAA-301) and foundational tech skills.
- Register with Xion Nexus: Fill out a form: Name, Surname, Student Number, Email, Subject (WebCraft, GameCraft, AICraft, RoboCraft), Career Goals, Experience Level. Xion Nexus assigns them to a Xion Worx company based on their subject—e.g., GameCraft → PixelPulse.
- Join Xion Worx: Students become “employees” of a virtual company, working for its owner (e.g., Zara Webb) and manager (instructor). They receive a Discord link to join the Xion Worx server—where the action happens.
- Work the Job:
- Tasks: Owners and managers assign projects via bots (e.g.,
!add_task "PixelJump" "JumpCode" "Build a jump mechanic"). - Build: Students use
DevBotto code/run tasks (e.g.,!run_task "JumpCode"). - Submit: Deliver work via
CompanyBot(e.g.,!submit_task "JumpCode" "github.com/kerwin/jump"). - Review: Managers approve/reject (e.g., “Nice work—approved!”).
- Tasks: Owners and managers assign projects via bots (e.g.,
- Earn Rewards: Xion Coins pile up—10 for tasks, 25 for submissions, 50 for approvals—tracked by
CoinBot. Spend on Xion Nexus kits, Retro Fusion challenges, or perks.
What It Does

- Career Prep: Simulates real tech jobs—students work for “clients” (owners), building portfolios for WebCraft, GameCraft, AICraft, RoboCraft paths.
